Title: Always Have, Always Will Author: Jessica Golden E-Mail address: XBatGirl@aol.com Summary: Dana Scully thinks Rating: G Category: Mulder/ Scully romance Warning: Shipper story ahead. Authors note: This is just a little thing I cooked up while waiting for my dad at his office a few months ago. I just found the legal pad with it on it. Archive: Please give it shelter from the storm anywhere. Just put my name and address on it. Disclaimer: The surfer god(Cris Carter) and his merry men own the characters and Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. I do not own them, if I did I wouldn't be writing fanfic, I would be writing the show. I have no permission to use them. Sue me if you must, but you won't be getting much. I never thought it would happen like this. I guess I always expected something a little different. Not something huge, but different than this. But I love it anyway. It's classic Mulder. Sweeping me off my feet, literally this time. The ironic thing is that I thought the case had validity. No case at all. All an elaborate scheme put together by Mulder and my mom to get me to Las Vegas. I hate this town. I knew his fascination with Elvis had gone a little far when he dressed up as The King for the annual F.B.I. Halloween party last October. Complete with ugly suit and matching sunglasses. But even though he's a little crazy I love him. Of course boring old Dana went as a cat. That's what he called me, `Boring Old Scully, always predictable." Boy, did I show him that night. If I had shown him any more that night Skinner would have kicked us out. Marriage was never something that I considered. Sure, when I was little I dreamed of it. Big fancy wedding in a big fancy church. But I grew out of that stage. Too many things came ahead of it. College and Med School both had priority over getting married. I didn't want a picket fence and two and a half kids. I wanted stability, a good job and a steady boyfriend. Sure there had been offers, even a request for a baby. But I never really wanted it. Never had a need for it. Until he came along. When he asked me a few months ago I considered for a while. After five minutes of arguing with myself the pros outweighed the cons. So I told him yes. I never really considered saying no. I love him, always have, always will.
